Dr. Walker was a radiant force—brilliant, compassionate, and committed to healing. As a daughter, mother, doctor, and leader, she left an extraordinary impact on all who knew her. Through the foundation created in her honor, we continue her life’s work by supporting those living with MS and empowering families through education, awareness, and care.
About DFMW Foundation
The Dr. Ferieda Marie Walker Foundation (DFMW) was established by her son, Marcus Graham, to carry forward her legacy of healing and service. As an accomplished African American physician, Dr. Walker made history—and left behind a powerful example of perseverance.
Today, DFMW uplifts individuals and families affected by MS through education, support services, and community events. We are dedicated to funding research, amplifying awareness, and creating lasting change for those impacted by chronic illness.
